Nada es original. Roba de cualquier sitio que te inspire o que alimente tu imaginación. Devora películas antiguas y modernas, música, libros, cuadros, fotografías, poemas, sueños, conversaciones aleatorias, arquitectura, puentes, señales de la calle, árboles, nubes, cuerpos de agua, luces y sombras. Roba sólo cosas que le hablen directamente a tu alma. Si haces eso, tu trabajo (y tus robos) serán auténticos. La autenticidad es muy valiosa, la originalidad no existe. Y no te molestes en disimular tus robos —si te apetece, celébralos. En cualquier caso, recuerda siempre lo que dijo Jean-Luc Godard: “Lo importante no es de dónde sacas las cosas —es a dónde las llevas”.
